This is a new site and a newly created non-profit for those families affected by autism. Please be patient as we get everything organized. Our purpose is stated below. We would gladly accept help in getting everything going for those who have the ability, time and desire to help. We need organizers, web creators, those with knowledge in helping facilitate Our Purpose, and of course monitary donations would always be appreciated!

Our Purpose:
Our Hope 4 Autism Our Purpose: To bring families affected by autism with inadequate or no insurance together with progressive, proven treatments, therapies, nutritional and dietary modifications that are “typically” not covered by insurance, nor discussed by those in the mainstream medical field. Also, to educate the public, media and medical communities on the benefits and progress of these alternative treatments which have been grossly overlooked or even hidden from those who would benefit the most. To reduce or eliminate, as a first course of treatment, the typically prescribed pharmaceuticals such as antidepressants and psychotropics which are rampant in the autism community. These should be a last resort ("first do no harm..."), for they only mask the symptoms, do nothing for recovery, and cost these children precious time lost in a drug induced fog denying them the chance to reach their true potential. Finally, to help uncover the truth behind the gross explosion in cases of autism to an epidemic state of an estimated 1 in 54 boys and 1 in 91 children now being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. |
